Mauricio Duarte was born in Niterói, RJ. Graphic designer, writer, poet, visual artist and illustrator, Mauricio has a degree in Industrial Design - Visual Programming at the School of Fine Arts at UFRJ. In 2008, he published the book Anti-art on demand. experiments in visual arts and conspiracy poetry. He was part of the Biennali Del Libro d´artista Catalog by LineaDarte in Naples, Italy in 2009. He has already participated in two collective virtual exhibitions at the Monalisa Gallery: Talents 2010 and Forms and Colors in 2011. His work was published in the Brazilian Yearbook of Arts Catalog Plásticos Consult from Editora Roma, in São Paulo, 2011. His biography was included in the book Biographical Profiles of Gonçalo Artists by São Gonçalo Letras and São Gonçalo City Hall in 2011. He participated in the Free to Create exhibition, in 2011, of Our Art Gallery and the collective virtual exhibition Legado da Arte in 2013. Currently it is part of the online catalog of Our Art Gallery. It has two anthologies of short stories published on demand: Literary Conspiracy and Comic Conspiracy, in addition to collections of poems and arts, Brutist, Simultaneist and Static Poetry and Pieces of a Life. He concluded the Textual Production course with the poet Maria Regina Moura at Canteiros publishing house.

He was awarded by the ABD with silver medals and outstanding ones concerning his participation in art and literature salons as a poet. He was also awarded the honorable mention in poetry at the XXXV Hermanando Continentes de Argentina contest. He had award-winning poems related to the 2nd. place on the 12th. National Poetry Award - Ipatinga City within the scope of the 14th. Literature Circuit of the Ipatinga Writers Club. 2015. He was selected for publication in the Sementes Líricas collection with the book Vozes que calam. poetry in Contest of Editora Litericidade. The artist was already a columnist for the website No Mundo e Nos Livros, where he made a bimonthly contribution to a column on visual arts and literature. He also wrote Coluna Visuális on the Sinestesia Portal, exclusively about visual arts. He is currently a columnist for the website Divulga Escritor in a column on arts, literature and spirituality. Member of SAL (Society of Arts and Letters of São Gonçalo) and Academic Member of Chair 39 of the Academia de Letras Virtual António Aleixo. Graduated from the Postgraduate (lato sensu) distance course in Higher Education Teaching at Dom Bosco University on the Education Portal. Also recently joined AGLAC (Academia Gonçalense de Letras, Artes e Ciências) in chair 56 with Patron João Batista de Mattos. In December 2018 he was installed in Chair 126 of ALCIBRÁS (Academy of Letters, Sciences and Arts of Brazil) in Volta Redonda - RJ. It is also known by the name of Divyam Anuragi, his name as neosannyasin of Osho.
